Energize Sportz was created by Greg Ktistou, the Founder of Breakaway Basketball.  Breakaway Basketball has developed into the largest skill development program in Illinois working with over 10K players a year from 1st-12th grade.

Coach Greg wanted a program that would help make every child’s first sports experience a positive one. His experience of being a former elementary physical education teacher, a coach for 20 years, and a  father helped turn the idea of Energize Sportz into a reality.

BILLY JACKLIN
Head Coach

Coach Billy Jacklin will be the lead coach for Energize Sportz. Coach Billy is the perfect person to start your child's athletic journey. He is the father of two young boys, and has 10 years of experience teaching Elementary and Middle School Physical Education. Coach Billy also has 12 years of experience coaching children from youth sports all the way to college-aged student-athletes.

He is a former high school prep star in Soccer and Basketball that went on to compete and captain his college basketball team at Carthage College. He has the perfect blend of passion for children, enthusiasm for sports, and discipline in his profession. As a father, he understands the mentality of 2-6 yr old children and will make your child's first sports experience a positive one. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and passion make him the perfect person to coach your child and lead Energize Sportz.
